24-48 Hours Before Your Tan:
• Exfoliate your skin using an exfoliating mitt to remove dead skin cells and old self-tanner. This helps create an even base for your tan.
• Shave or wax at least 24 hours before your appointment to allow pores to close and prevent dark spots.
• Moisturize your skin daily leading up to your tan, but avoid applying lotion on the day of your appointment.

Day of Your Spray Tan:
• Shower at least 3 hours before your appointment using a mild, oil-free body wash. Avoid bar soaps or anything hydrating that could leave a residue.
• Do not apply lotions, deodorant, perfumes, or makeup, as these can act as a barrier to the tan.
• Wear loose, dark clothing and slip on’s or sandals to avoid rubbing off the tan.

Additional Tips:
• If you’re getting a manicure or pedicure, do it before your tan, as soaking and exfoliating can fade the colour.
• Avoid wearing jewelry to prevent uneven tanning spots.

Right After Your Spray Tan:
• Wear loose, dark clothing to avoid rubbing off the tan.
• Avoid water, sweating, or touching your skin until your first rinse to prevent uneven spots.
• Do not apply lotions, perfumes, or deodorants until after your first rinse.

First Rinse (5-12 Hours After Tan, Depending on Solution Used):
• Rinse with lukewarm water only—avoid soap, scrubs, and hot showers.
• Pat skin dry with a soft towel (do not rub).
• A gradual tan will continue to develop over the next 24 hours.

After Your First Rinse:
• Moisturize daily with an oil-free, hydrating lotion to extend your tan.
• Avoid long hot showers, baths, saunas, and chlorinated pools, as they can cause premature fading.
• Use gentle, sulfate-free body wash when showering.( **avoid Dove body wash)
• Exfoliate only when you are ready to remove your tan and prepare for your next session.
